With your support hope rises.

Our work with those suffering from leprosy and other neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) doesn’t end with treating the condition itself; too often, patients’ remote locations and insufficient access to health care facilities yield late diagnoses. This can in turn create the need for decades of follow-up care from complications and disfigurements that could likely have been avoided with faster identification and treatment.

Take Yangataswamy, currently being treated by one of our partner hospitals in India. Now 60, he was first diagnosed with leprosy as a ten-year-old boy after presenting with patches and sensory loss. Other symptoms followed soon after. By the time he was 15, his condition led him to develop “claw hands”.

Even now, five decades later, Yangataswamy continues to suffer the preventable side effects of leprosy. We need the help of compassionate givers like you to bring healing and hope to others suffering like Yangataswamy in a life-changing way. Your generous gift today helps bring much needed supplies and relief!
