experience, Ismael is dedicated to expanding American Leprosy Missions’ grants portfolio to meet program needs and fulfill the organization’s mission. He oversees grant processes from start to finish: from opportunity identification to hand-off and implementation, liaising with program directors to ensure necessary program, financial and technical inputs, leading bid teams, and managing current grant awards. He works across different teams to execute a resource mobilization strategy, coordinate grant processes and qualify new opportunities that align with ALM’s priorities.

Ismael earned a B.A. in political science from Rhode Island College. Beyond his professional pursuits, his interests include Byzantine chanting and dabbling with classical Persian instruments. Ismael treasures family and the art of connecting with people from all walks of life.
