Chris A. Hogue, M.B.A., Chair-Elect
Chris Hogue serves as World Vision International’s Strategy Specialist, providing fundraising and field ministry consulting services focused on raising resources. He began his long career in the non-profit sector as an Assistant Country Director at World Relief Corporation in Nicaragua. While there, Chris managed finances and administration for all country programs, and also oversaw relief operations to Rwanda, with support to Zaire (DR Congo). Relocating to Washington, D.C. in 1995, Chris took a position as International Finance Officer for World Vision Relief and Development for Southern and East Africa and Latin America.
Chris went on to take over coordinating and strategic planning, program support, and funding allocations for World Vision Inc. for Latin America and the Caribbean, maintaining a total annual portfolio of $40 million. In 2009, Chris became World Vision, Inc.’s Operations Director for the Latin America team, and provided leadership in overseeing U.S.-funded programs, joining other Operations Directors in managing a global private funding portfolio of over $500 million.
Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, both from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
He joined the board of American Leprosy Missions in 2017.
