Christina Colton, Vice President of Development
Christina oversees the development team as it pursues its five-year strategic plan. She is also responsible for fostering relationships with donors, and for producing high-impact events on behalf of American Leprosy Missions. She has traveled to both India and Nepal to see God’s hand at work through the ministry of American Leprosy Missions. As a “people person,” her favorite part of her job is meeting with donors and connecting them to projects in the field.
Prior to joining American Leprosy Missions in 2009, Christina served as manager of operations and development for an online news organization in Washington, D.C. She also was vice president of a boutique fundraising and event planning firm serving non-profit, corporate, and political clients. Additionally, Christina has held roles working for the U.S. House of Representatives and a national news organization. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Trinity University in Washington, D.C.
But, Christina and her husband think their greatest accomplishments have been their two boys, Porter and Caleb. Be prepared to sit through a slideshow of photos.
