Sarah Kerr

Grants Acquisition Manager, United States

Sarah PortraitSarah’s great joy is to build relationships with potential and current grant donors and connect them with American Leprosy Missions’ work across the globe. A veteran non-profit worker with over two decades of experience, she leads the organization’s efforts in developing, acquiring and managing institutional funding, including foundation and corporate grants. She is motivated by watching communities reintegrate people affected by stigma and disease as a result of our projects.

Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Houghton College with a B.A. in Intercultural Studies and a concentration in linguistics. Previously, she leveraged her grants management expertise at World Relief, as well as  Helping Up Mission (Baltimore, MD). She also co-coordinated The Justice Conference Towson and is an ordained deacon in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Sarah lives in the Nashville area with her husband, young son and rescue cat, but she always keeps her passport close by in case the travel bug hits!
