September 9, 2009 Deacon Moynihan has worked with THP for twelve years leading its mission to “educate and nurture academically talented and motivated students from the poorest Haitian families to maximize their potential and enable them to work toward building a Haiti where justice and peace thrive.”
Deacon Patrick Moynihan served as the President of The Haitian Project (THP) and its tuition-free Catholic boarding school in Haiti, Louverture Cleary School (LCS) from 1996 to 2006 and is now President Emeritus. He has a degree in Classics from Brown University and a MA in Theology from Providence College. Before The Haitian Project, Moynihan was a futures and options trader for Louis Dreyfus Corp.
