American Leprosy Missions Remembers Actor Peter Graves
American Leprosy Missions (ALM) is saddened by the death of Peter Graves on March 14, 2010,
four days prior to his 84th birthday at his home in Pacific Palisades, California.
The Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner was best known for his starring role in the CBS television series Mission: Impossible and his role in the spoof movie Airplane!. Throughout Mr. Graves' career,
he appeared in more than seventy films, television shows and television movies.
A devout Christian and life-long humanitarian, Mr. Graves was the most recent host of ALM’s long-running television pledge program. He believed in our work of touching, treating, and transforming
the lives of people affected by leprosy. We will honor his memory through our continued outreach
to this forgotten group of people. Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, three daughters and six grandchildren.
